Sooner or later a TMS WEB Core app needs to reach past its components and work on the page itself. This working app shows how to do that from Delphi code, with one button for each technique. It replaces the innerText and the innerHTML of a div, so you can see the difference between the two, appends a new child element made with createElement, switches the class of a div, shows and hides it by setting its style attribute, and changes a single style property of a TMS panel through its ElementHandle. It also links a plain HTML button in the form's HTML template back to a Delphi method with addEventListener, and starts a file download from it with Application.Download. The download contains the full project - Delphi source, the form's HTML template and the CSS. The project files are from Delphi 11 with TMS WEB Core. Free to use and modify |
